This is also a recess week for Members of Congress who return home to test the waters on a lame-duck president's ideas for which he will never again have to be judged by voters. It is also a recess week -- oops, month -- for our state legislators who won't return to Harrisburg until mid-March. No surprise, they recessed leaving the state's public transit systems up the creek without a paddle, so to speak, easy for them to do since they get tax dollars to lease cars for their own travel.
