If Harrisburg is responsible for the transit mess, why does Dan Onorato so strongly support Ed Rendell?

Mass transit is not a top priority of Onorato as it never was a priroity. It is a talking point -- but nothing else. He let PAT flounder for years when he was the Controller of Allegheny County and when he was in his first term as Chief Executive.

Onorato never talked about transit when he ran for County Executive. He needs transit to be a focus because when he ran for the job he presently has he said he'd fix the assessment mess -- and he has failed at that task.
