$1.2M will widen East Carson, making it safer and ease congestion - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

$1.2M will widen East Carson, making it safer and ease congestion - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "U.S. Sens. Arlen Specter and Bob Casey this morning announced a $1.2 million federal grant to widen the two-lane stretch from 25th Street -- just a block down from the South Side's Double Wide Grill -- to 33rd street, about a mile down the road.
This was promised a long time ago.

The road is going to be wider by the shops -- but -- it will narrow again. There will still be a bottleneck.

Dan Onorato says that roads has limited the growth of the South Side Works. Wrong. How about population loss? How about high taxes?
