Great winter weather for roads

Pittsburgh Laurels & Lances - "Laurel: To Mother Nature. The mild winter has saved state and municipal road departments a bundle in salt costs and staff time; PennDOT estimates its savings at $8 million to $10 million statewide. Given the unending task of highway repairs in Southwestern Pennsylvania, we trust this windfall will find its way back to where the rubber meets the road.
